    ALBWT 0-0 LCSWT
  • K.O.: ALBWT 0-0 LCSWT

  • 5 mins to K.O.: ALBWT are fielding their strongest XI IMO. LCSWT are trusting their midfield pivot position to No.13 Natasha Naszri instead of their regular No.16 Ho Hui Xin.
  • 45 mins to K.O.: When LCSWT beat BKWT 18-0, ALBWT knew what they had to do if they wanted to keep pace and put on a serious title challenge — they went on to beat BKWT 14-0 in response.

Both sides will be primed to go all out to get nothing less than a W this evening.
  • 90 mins to K.O.: I am still going to watch the game LIVE because I don’t want to waste my ticket there are some things you just don’t get to see via live stream… like the aeroplanes, the helicopters, the guy in the PSG jersey dribbling in front of everyone etc.
  • 6 hours to K.O.: One play which ALBWT like to make is to line up outside of the opposition penalty box in order to fix the defenders in place. They would then play through balls (or long balls) into the empty space just in front of the six-yard box for their forwards to sprint and shoot at goal.

    Their passing game is 🤌.
  • 9 hours to K.O.: “I’ve learnt so much more from him in every aspect of my game, and he always pushes us to our limits,” says LCSWT No.23 Nur Sarah Zu’risqha about LCSWT Head Coach, Daniel Ong, in their match preview.

In one of the SGWPL matches I watched earlier in the season, Sarah ran up the pitch so fast with the ball on the right that she was isolated near the corner. Coach Daniel raised his arm and shouted, “SUPPORT!” from the sidelines. Trust the process, trust the coach and trust the team.
  • 10 hours to K.O.: What to expect:

If ALBWT were to ever beat LCSWT, they couldn’t asked for a better setup: Nine LCSWT players were called up for National Team duty in SGPWT vs. MACWT earlier in the week on Tuesday. In a game of fine margins, this might work to ALBWT’s advantage.

Both league top scorers ALBWT No.18 Manami Fukuzawa (14 goals) and LCSWT No.9 Raeka Ee (12 goals) should be available and fresh to start this game. Raeeeeeka has more repeated letters in her Insta username so she should have an edge in the game’s final tally.
  • 11 hours to K.O.: And now, for the match we’ve all been waiting for: Numero Uno vs. Numero Dos — both teams are tied with 24 points each at the top of the table with *just* a 19-goal difference separating the two (thank you, BKWT!).

Up for grabs is the outright leadership of the league. No pressure. 😊
