BGTRWT No.10 Nahwah Aidilreza
Not exactly an unknown in SG women’s football, but what an underrated performance against an LCSWT side favoured to smash twenty goals past a young, developmental BGTRWT squad.
Together with BGTRWT No.12 Fifisancho, Nahwah made central progression that much more difficult for the opposition with her intense 1v1 duelling and pressing. Was practically limping towards the end of the game from all the falls and knocks taken.
TPUWT No.14 Denise Chu
Took a close-range shot to the head from an opposition cross in the left wide area. Everyone in the stand heard the ricochet and was immediately like, OMG. Stood up, received some treatment on the sideline and got on with the big ask of defending against a free-scoring ALBWT looking to outdo their title competitor.
Made a rare lung-bursting run into the ALBWT final third, in the dying minutes of the game, just to remind everyone that TPUWT can attack, too.
