LCSWT No.16 HHX runs towards the corner to hug her young teammate while the rest of the LCSWT team race towards the LCSWT photographer at the goalline for a group shot.

    They’ve broken the HUWT bus.

  • 2H K.O.: HUWT obviously had a plan coming into the game (defend deep and take long shots at goal) and they have been able to execute it so far.

The question is, will they survive the LCSWT super subs?

  • HT: LCSWT 0-0 HUWT
  • 44′: CHANCE FOR HUWT!!!

    LCSWT 0-0 HUWT
  • K.O.: LCSWT 0-0 HUWT

  • 60 mins to K.O.: What the hey, @sgwomensfootball will not be live streaming the SGWPL matches “due to lack of clearance”. Last week okay, this week not okay. Okay…
  • 90 mins to K.O.: The only team to beat LCSWT this season has been GIWT. In that game, they opted for a defensive set-up and made the most of an LCSWT error to get the scoring going. It doesn’t feel like it is in HUWT’s DNA to play that way though.

Also, whatever game plan HUWT comes up with, hopefully, it includes something to deal with the LCSWT bench. It’s like playing against one-and-a-half teams given the quality of the LCSWT subs.
  • 8 hours to K.O.: “Hougang’s mentality and fitness are really strong, and we know they will keep coming at us until the final whistle,” says Josephine Ang in the LCSWT match preview article, probably in reference to last matchweek when HUWT came back from two goals down to draw 3-3 against GIWT.

They also have a coach who isn’t afraid to beret them from the sidelines as a form of “motivation”, so expect them to have a proper go at the league leaders despite being fourth in the table.
