- 83′: GWIT No.20 Sarka drives into the ALBWT half by herself and makes it to the edge of the ABLWT box. She cuts the ball back to No.7 Farhanah. Farhanah has to make a low-sweeping kick to connect with the ball. She misses the target and the ball is collected by the ALBWT GK.

ALBWT GK goal kick down the centre near the halfway line. No.14 Kitahara flicks the ball onto the path of No.29 Mulan on the left. Mulan outruns her marker and slots the ball into the far post. Goal!

- 74′: GIWT has called in No.17 Azreena to replace No.2 Siti Fathimah. A striker for a defender – it’s now or never.

ALBWT No.14 Kitahara was rushing into the six-yard box to score but left a trailing leg, hitting the GIWT GK on her way out. The ref approaches Kitahara and has a word with her for earlier incidents of rough play.

- 53′: GIWT No.10 Farah takes flight down the left channel. She evades ALBWT No.17’s tackle and reaches the ALBWT penalty box only to be crowded out by a mass of returning ALBWT players.

- 51′: ALBWT Mulan takes a free kick near the edge of the GIWT box on the left. The ball is too well hit and it flies out of play.

ALBWT No.18 Fukuzawa sprints into the GIWT penalty box with the ball on the left. She slots it into the far post out of reach for the GIWT GK.

- 25′: ALBWT No.2 Monden makes a strong run into the GIWT penalty box on the right. She shoots on target but the GIWT GK is there to make the save.

- 20′: A bit of shoving going on between GIWT No.10 Farah and ALBWT No.30 Maisarah while the ball is being set up for a free kick inside the GIWT half. Not what you’d want to see this early in the game tbh.

- 15′: ALBWT No.14 Kitahara lifts the ball into the GIWT box from the half space on the right and plays No.18 Fukuzawa through on goal. GIWT GK catches the ball with both hands and the GIWT crowd applauds her.

- 10′: GIWT No.6 just took a blast to the body from a ALBWT shot near the penalty spot. GIWT is finding it hard to breakout of their own half. Not that it’s a problem given their previous game against LCSWT.

- 7′: ALBWT No.30 Maisarah is through on goal just outside the six-yard box but GIWT GK makes a diving save.

- 5′: ALBWT gets the first corner of the night at the edge of the GIWT penalty box on the left. ALBWT No.7 Izah steps up to take it. She delivers the ball into the mixer but it is kicked out to safety.

- 5 mins to K.O.: I guess LCSWT will be hoping for a 0-0 draw.
- 25 mins to K.O.: Both teams are out on the pitch doing their warm-ups. It’s bright green vs. bright orange.
GIWT new signings No.4 Kyra Taylor, No.14 Nadhra Aqilah and No.20 Victoria Sarka are all on the pitch.
I think I spotted the return of Mulannnnn Ayliffe to ALBWT but will have to confirm later. (Update: It is her!)
- 90 mins to K.O.: What to expect:
- GIWT will be without their captain, No.11 Mastura, who is out with a complete ACL tear from their last game against LCSWT. Who knows? Maybe GIWT will fight even harder without their captain on the field in order to cheer her up.
- ALBWT will be missing forward No.8 Noralinda. They are tied with LCSWT for points and trail them by 22 goals on goal difference. There is no way they can make it up within this game but a win and three points will certainly keep the pressure up on the league leaders.
- 5 hours to K.O.: DEATH MATCH OF THE SEASON! 2nd placed ALBWT take on a resurgent GIWT in a must-win game for both teams if they are to challenge LCSWT for the title. No favours will be given here, it’s gonna be a fight to the final whistle for all three points.
